Tenure types

Freehold

Houses are acceptable. Freehold flats are not.

Leasehold

Leases must have at least 85 years remaining on commencement of the mortgage with a minimum of 50 years remaining at the end of the term.

We only accept leasehold properties where the Freeholder or Management Company has no connection to our customers.

Share of Freehold

We will proceed with properties where there is a share of freehold as long as the share is equally divided by the number of dwelling.

Commonhold

Commonhold properties are not acceptable
